je suis en train de lire ce livre: Le Monde Des Troubadours - La Société Médiévale Occitane De 1100 À 1300 de Linda-M Paterson

je voudrais savoir si quelqu'un l'a deja lu et ce qu'il en pense. Ce livre parle du monde entourant les troubadours en occitanie et fait plusieurs allusions aussi au royaume aragonais

peut on se servir de ce livre en tant que source réelle de savoir car elle emmene beaucoup d'éléments de savoir en habillement et sur toutes les personnes de notre période favorite de reconstitution ou d'évocation . Rare sont les livres grands publics serieux ou on parle des sergent et des archers, arbaletriers au meme titre que des chevaliers.

Research interests

Linda Paterson's research is based on medieval Occitan literature and social and cultural history (including the history of medicine). A major project nearing completion constitutes the AHRC-funded edition, in collaboration with Ruth Harvey of Royal Holloway College London, of 160 Occitan dialogue poems (tensos and partimens, see below). Her next major project concerns lyric responses to the crusades in medieval France and Occitania, which will involve a monograph linked to online texts, translations and performances of troubadour and trouvere lyrics.
